Responsibilities:
The Plumas County Childcare & Development
Planning Council (PCCDPC) is an independent
department serving under the direction of the
Superintendent of Schools and the County Office of
Education. The Coordinator is responsible for the
daily operation of the program and overall
facilitation and development of collaborative
partner relationships within the various children's
support groups and agencies in Plumas County.
A multitude of duties include activities
surrounding fund development, grant compliance,
strategic planning, needs assessments, data
compilation, fiscal supervision, management of
committees, dissemination of information to members
and the community at large, presentations to the
Board of Supervisors, and facilitation of monthly
board meetings. The Coordinator is also responsible
for the development and supervision of annual
educational events for those working in the child
care field and their community partners.
