Staff
to the Child Care Planning Council of Yuba &
Sutter Counties
Plans,
develops, coordinates, manages and participates
in providing assistance to the Council in
accomplishing those responsibilities mandated in
California Education Code
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Involved in the development of projects
and proposals related to the provisions and
mandates stated in ED Code.
2. Provides leadership in Early Childhood
Education by providing services and technical
assistance to school districts and community
agencies; provides supervisions of assigned
staff, and maintains effective communication and
collaboration with school personnel and
community agencies.
Background:
B.S. and M.S. in Child Development.
Thirty years in the field of early care and education including:
Head Start teacher and Education Coordinator, School-Age Parenting and Infant Development program director/teacher.
State Preschool teacher and director, director for private non-profit
child development program, community college instructor, and consultant for Head Start and military child development programs.
