April has worked in the Early Care and
Education field since 1989. Her basic work

Subsidized, Center-Based Preschool
Program

instructional/leadership roles in Head
Start (both Migrant and Regional)
Programs- this includes center-based as
well as home-based
experience
- 3 years teaching
elementary school (in self-contained
classrooms)
- Currently, serving
in a management position, April has
been the Child Care Planning
Coordinator for the Stanislaus Child
Development Local Planning Council
since the spring of 2001. She works
directly under the supervision of the
Stanislaus County Office of Education,
in the Child/Family Services
Division.
